Vision of Beit Tikvah

Exalt the Lord in His power and majesty…
through a lifestyle of praise and worship

Engage our community and our culture…
by demonstrating God’s love to our generation

Encourage one another…
through love and good deeds

Equip God's people for the work of service…
by training and instruction in righteousness

Expand the Kingdom of God…
through ministries and missions

To the Jew first… and also to the gentile
To Israel first… and also to the nations

Mission of Beit Tikvah

Our mission originates in Genesis chapter 12 and is completed in Matthew 28, commonly called the Great Commission.

Genesis 12:3
I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.

Matthew 28:19-20
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

Therefore, our co-mission is to be a blessing to all the earth by making disciples, baptizing or immersing them in the waters of the mikveh, and teaching them that which we have received from Messiah Yeshua.

Two Sub-Missions

  1. Be a bridge to the Jewish community by presenting the Good News of Yeshua the Messiah as a normative Judaism. Messianic Judaism, by Rabbi Dan Cohn-Sherbok.
  2. Be a bridge to the Christian church by teaching them about their Jewish roots and about God’s heart for Israel.
